Fun Times at IPGA Skeet Shoot
& Scholarship Raffle Drawing
The Illinois Propane Gas Association (IPGA) recently hosted a skeet shoot event on June 22 in Machinaw, IL. Twelve participants, including both skilled shooters and newcomers, competed for honors and prizes. Mark Britenstine from Prairieland FS emerged as the top shooter, winning the prestigious TOP SHOT trophy. Conversely, Todd Jones, IPGA’s trainer, was awarded the WORST SHOT trophy.
Following the competition, there were drawings for several raffle baskets. The winners were:
- Tonya Crow from Growmark won a bourbon basket.
- Rhonda Morris from Centralia Propane won a whiskey basket.
- Shorty Duvall with South Central FS won a wine basket.
- Mark Gresham with DCC Propane won power tools.
- Jared Meeker from Manito Oil won the gun.
The event was successful in raising over $4,000 towards IPGA’s fourth scholarship. The organization is grateful to all board members for their efforts in selling raffle tickets, as well as to all members who supported the event by purchasing tickets and attending the skeet shoot.
Members interested in organizing or hosting future events are encouraged to reach out to the IPGA office for further information.
